Goto Tools Menu
Select Options, General and click on Use Blank Page and OK
Install AVG Antivirus to protect your system from Adware, Spyware and Viruses.

Go to Tools --> Options --> then click on General.

Where it says "Home Page," change it to whatever you want to open at startup of Firefox.
