time comes from our consciousness. what do you think when one says time ? do you picture a clock? if you do then you are a narrow minded person and easily lead . if i told you that every time that you think of a certain time in your life , then i asked you to tell me why you think of these times above all others , what would you say this reason is ?? i thnk i can tell you . think about it , every time that you think of a cleche like ''some other time'" or ""on borrowed time "" or ""its about time"" all of these cleches have a reason for tihs way of saying things. because every time that you have let or borrow time your conscious has activated to let yoiu memory rememberand this is due to the borrowing of time . Time allows you to remember .so when your conscious becomes alert you have borrowed time . what do you think about this ?

if there were no time eerything would happen at once but the memory is timeless and after the world ends past present and future will be the same so live in the present remember the past and look to the future they all relate and can only be affected via the present preceded by our thoughts.

time to lay off the weed, my friend...

just kidding. the nature of time is a really interesting - albeit abstract - concept. If you can wrap your mind around it, Einstein's theories of relativity will completely blow your mind. For an easy-to-read introduction to quantum physics and its connections with eastern philosophy (sounds crazy, but trust me it's cool), check out this book: The Dancing Wu Li Masters.

here's what it has to say about time:
"According to Newtonian physics, our 3 dimensional reality is separate from, and moves forward in, a one-dimensional time. Not so, says the special theory of relativity. Our reality is 4-dimensional, and the 4th dimension is TIME.
The newtonian view of space and time is a dynamic picture. events develop with the passage of time. time is one dimenstional and moves (forward). The past, present, and future happen in that order. The special theory of relativity, however, says that it is preferable (and more useful) to think in terms of a static, nonmoving picture of space and time. This is the time-space continuum."
