So me and my girlfriend had sex, then immediately afterwards she has her period (we had protected sex and the condom was not ruptured). So during the 28 days after this period we do not have sex, but then she is late by 2 days today, 3 tomorrow. She doesn't have any symptoms of pregnancy nor does she have symptoms of getting her period. We are getting a pregnancy test tomorrow, but is it possible for her to be pregnant looking at the situation. I think she is just late, but she insist that she is pregnant. Please give your input.

If you used a condom the chances of her being pregnant are really low. If you try a pregnancy test now it will come out negative b/c it is too soon. The preg horomone does not show up until at least a few weeks (like 2-3) after becoming pregnant IF she is pregnant. So I think it is highly unlikely that she is pregnant. She is probably late, as you suggested. A late period can be caused by stress. Good luck and try not to freak out! If she is worried about getting pregnant have her get on bc pills as an extra precaution.

I'd say she's not, periods occasionally come a few days late. Is her period regularly on time? Does it come on time one month & the next early/late? It is possible she is pregnant from the previous sexual encounter, after all sperm can live in the vagina for up to, I believe, 1-2 weeks. So even though she had her period, she could still have gotten pregnant. Condoms are after all only 99% effective when used properly. Sounds nuts but there is still that 1% chance. & there is always the "faithfulness" question.

I'd give it a few more days, if there is still nothing then try the test &/or see a gyno.

Well, no method is 100% effective. But I'm guessing that she probably is not pregnant. Her late period could be caused by stress....especially if she thinks she's pregnant. Sometimes women can become so convinced they're pregnant, they actually start to feel pregnant...the stress of it can delay her period...convincing her more that she's pregnant. A pregnancy test should end the vicious cycle.

I doubt she is if u used the condoms properly and didnt have sex again after the day of her period! If u r telling the truth and she does turn out pregnant u need to talk to her about if it is actually ur baby! If she insists it is have a paternity test after it is born just in case

You guys are making a big deal out of nothing. Girls can be late up to five days, and still be normal. Our periods are not always like clockwork...........if shes still late 2 weeks from now.......then take the test. If you take it tomorrow, you are just wasting money. Shes not pregnant. You didn't *** inside of her. And furthermore you haven't even had sex in 35 days. If she is pregnant.....its not yours.

Personally, I really doubt she is pregnant. Most women are fertile in the middle of their cycle, not at then end (though she could be an exception), so that time having sex probably wouldn't have gotten her pregnant. However, if the two of you had also been sexually active two weeks prior to that she may have been fertile at that time. My guess is that she's just late.

i guess i could be possible but highly unlikely especially if you had sex so close to the period and it was protected sex some times stress can cause a period to be late and the more you think about it the later it may come

Even if the condom didn't break, they are not 100% foolproof.

She could possibly be pregnant, but only a test will tell for sure.

Chances are no. If the condom wasn't ruptered, and she got her period afterward. There is no way she can be pregnant.
