I know someone who did that in a country where he didn't speak the language, he was trying to ask for a bathroom. The man he was asking thought he was asking for sex, however, and started yelling at him and hitting him, I guess he was insulted......an interpreter was found quickly, the bathroom was found, apologies were made, and all ended up well, but it was funny........

There is no reason for it. There is really no reason for them to point to their wrists to ask for the time, either, rather than politely asking...But to... point to a crotch or to their butts, and I saw it, I would think they wanted me to think they were showing me they were proud of what they thought they had. :o)
By the time, I figured out what they really wanted, they would have dirtied themselves--better to just be straight forward and hurry and ask outloud, I'd say! :o)

I actually did that once to a friend of mine. They laughed so hard. But hey, we were drunk lol.
Does it bother you when people point to their wrists when asking for the time? I get annoyed by it.

LMAO.....U know babies do!!!! Ever seen a little boy grab at himself? Or a boy or girl who have to do #2 will be pulling at their rear ends..trying to let mom or dad lnow..hey get me out of this quick! LOL
Now as for adults..oh no we would look crazy stupid!!! But little kids look so cute!
