Yes, I've fallen asleep at the wheel, but thank God, I managed to wake up before anything bad happened.
Sometimes I push through. Sometimes I scare myself awake. I've also been known to stop at a truckstop and bathe my face with ice. I sing, recite poetry, make political speeches, or just talk and holler to keep myself awake.
If it gets too bad, I'm not ashamed, or afraid to pull over and take a nap. It depends on circumstances and my physical and mental state.

I used to drive one and a half hours twice a week to visit family and friends and work and most of the time, I would be driving in the middle of the afternoon (about this time) and it was when I was the most tired. Anyway, one afternoon I was driving on the freeway and I could feel my eyes feeling very heavy and tired and I was fighting to stay away. I knew I should of pulled over the side of the road to have a cat nap, but I was anxious to get where I was going. Anyway, I felt my eyes close for just a couple of seconds and my car slightly vear off the road. I quickly opened my eyes though before anything happened, slowed down and then pulled over to the side the road and rested. I nearly had a heart attack though when it happened and from that day on, I make sure I'm alert when driving or I pull over somewhere and have a bit of a nap!

Yes, almost! It was bad. My boyfriend at the time and I had to pull over in a little town and sleep for about a half hour to make the last 15 miles home. If we hadn't done that we would never have made it. Scary feeling! I used to push through, but after that, not any more.

nope, never fallen asleep while driving; i know so, cuz if i did fall asleep while driving, i probably would not wake up to answer ur question.
If i as really sleepy while driving, i would turn on the radio and sing along.
I usually get enough sleep so i'm not sleepy while driving.

Yes, but only for milliseconds. It was alarming, but no problem ensued.
