In pokemon game trades, traded pokemon get boosted experience points but do they get the same ammount of stats

Question

do traded pokemon get the same ammount of stats when leveling up when they are traded?

For example, I just caught the L70 Mewtwo in Leafgreen and I want to transfer it over to Pearl I know if I train it in Pearl, it will be quicker to get to level 100, but if it sacrifices stat growth, I will train it to level 100 in the Leafgreen elite 4 getting regular experience points.

in the days of red, blue and yellow, this would be a problem, the traded pokemon would not get the same stat growth. i could not find out why.

however, since today's pokemon stat growth are based on IV, EV, natures, and normal stat ends, traded ones will end the same.

however, you want to get to max EV before you get to level 100
