I think you already know why I would feel let down after voting for George Bush in 2000. Fortunately, I was able to vote against him in 2004. Unfortunately, that meant I had to vote for a putz married to a ketchup heir.
What this country really needs right now is another Roosevelt. FDR or Teddy, take your pick.

GREATEST EXAMPLE IN THE WORLD!!!!!
George Bush in the case of everyone who voted for him in 2000 and in 2004.
And it was all manipulation, too. I mean, the only reason people voted for him in 2000 was so they could keep their guns. And the only reason they turned around and voted for him again in 2004 was so gays wouldn't get married. Which is awfully stupid if you'd rather have Bush as President than to have gays married.
But anyways; Bush has mislead every American. He's lied to us. He's started an illegal war. He's spent billions into trillions in American tax dollars to help a foreign government who already has equal that in American dollars from their oil wells. Not to mention he's stripped the rights of every non-American dream individual there is.
**** Bush. America's blood is on his hands.

I'm human, I live in NYC, do I really have to say more. Tell you about it. I live in the city run by Tamney Hall. Please, I can't remember when I've voted for a mayor who hasn't mislead me. Well, maybe Bloomberg, who I did vote for the second time around has actually been a bit better than expected, but the others, Dinkins, Koch, mostly Rudy,oh,I didn't vote for him, forget that. Well, they all lied and ended up not doing what they said they would. It's NYC, we don't expect them to do what they say they will. We have better luck with our Senators at least.

a better question would be:
have you ever voted for a politician and NOT been mislead?
they'll say and do anything to GET elected. Then they do what they want.

Politicians lie? They don't lie, they just make so many promises to so many people it's impossible to even remember them all, let alone keep them.
