My town is known for having white squirrels! How pathetic is that?! The cop cars even have white squirrels on the doors..It was even on "Weird Travels" or some crap like that on the Travel Channel. Also, there are laws protecting the little tree rats. Go figure!

My town used to be known as the steel city and is known worldwide for it's cutlery and knives.
there is a sauce called Henderson's relish (goes great with a meat pie) that is well known and produced in Sheffield but hardly anyone outside Sheffield knows of it. Also the best Yorkshire puddings are made here.
We host the world snooker finals here every April.
Joe Cocker was born here. Also, the Arctic Monkeys, ABC, Phil Oakey and Paul Carrick.
Yes I'm from Sheffield, England.

I live across the street from Cal State Fullerton. The Virgina Tech shooting was a reminder to the devastation which took place there on July 12, 1976, Edward Allaway opened fire with a .22-caliber rifle in the California State University, Fullerton, library. He killed two custodians, a photographer, a retired professor, a library assistant, a graphic artist and an audio technician. Two other people were wounded. Allaway told authorities he killed his co-workers because they teased him about his belief that pornographic movies were being made on campus. At his trial, he testified that homosexual men were using the school's library for sexual liaisons and were plotting to kill him. A judge found him innocent by reason of insanity in 1977 after a jury was unable to reach a verdict, and he was remanded to a state mental hospital.

Biggest Church of God Convention plus a private Church of God University--The Anderson University. But in June of each year, our city is so full of Church of God people, our vehicles can barely move on the streets of town.
The Indiana Colts used to do their practices at this university up until a couple of years ago, also.
