You have neither given the horoscope nor the birth details. Suppose you are having a weak Budha, that would be different from a malefic Budha. For ascendants which are ruled by Venus Mercury and Saturn, Mercury could be weak and would yield not so good results. But for those ascendants Mercury would not be a malefic. For Ascendants ruled by Mars, Moon and Jupiter, Mercury would be Malefic. If that Mercury is weak, it is welcome.Anyhow propitiation to Lord Satyanarayana who stands alone, without his consort would prove beneficial. What are your Sun, Moon and rising signs? And where is your Mercury, in which sign, and what aspects Mercury forms with other plantes? Than there will be no problem in finding a remedy.

The most accurate insight i can give to you is this:
A) to lower any of Mercury's influence on you, stay away from silver bracelets, rings and instruments. Silver is related to the Mercury planet and to Aquarius instincts.
(Now that doesn't mean any of you Aquariuses have to swallow silver in order to gain powers, ok? Silver is said to be toxic and it STAINS)
B) Sorry, I had to tell these kids to be careful. Now I'm back to you. So, if you are not born Aquarius, you may try to wear gold rings and bracelets. Presence of gold might ward off Mercury's influence.
(Again, that doesn't mean any of you barbaric Aquariuses have to swallow Gold Bars to see what happens ok? Gold is said to be toxic and it DOESN'T TASTE GOOD.)
