I know that Bree is hiding her daughter because the daughter is pregnant. But why is Bree pretending to be pregnant?

so that she can pretend her daughter's baby is her own. She will raise her grandbaby as her own baby...
that was common practice back in the day and Bree is old fashioned and constantly worried about her rep.

Bree will probably go back to Europe to visit her daughter, while there she supposedly goes into labor and has a baby. She will pass the baby on as the one she gave birth to. Bree can't stand the thought of her precious daughter having a child out of wedlock and having her friends (the other housewives) gossip about her. Bree is too much of a goody-goody.
This is my opinion, you have to wait until the new season begins to get the answer.

Come on it's obvious so that when she have the baby instead of giving her grand kid up for adoption she's gonna pretend that it's the baby she had. What i don't know is that her daughter is n France or something so is Bree gonna go away when she's almost due and get the baby? I'm waiting to see how that's gonna workout

I was wondering the same thing too - but Brie comes from the Old School where appearances mean everything - and to have a daughter pregnant out of wedlock is a huge NO-No ESPECIALLY when the baby's gonna be a relation to Edie Britt.

What everyone else said she wants people to think it is hers and not know her daughter was ever pregnant. I am really sad especially when Julie was asking about Danielle last night. I liked her and Austin it was sad her friend did that to her. It is all goin g to come out eventually and julie is going to be heartbroken. I really think Austin did li=ove her a lot but had to leave.

She's just affraid of what all of Wisteria Lane would think of her family. So she's hiding her daughter and raising the kid as her own. It was a common thing way back when. Personally I don't think she should do that. Eventually someone will find out.
