Anything with sparkles/glitter/diamantes for an evening affair is fine..if you feel confident in a dress with these, go ahead:)

As for halters, it still depends on whether the colour matches your body shape and skin tone. Halters tend to make ample-chested women look more flat, and flat women look even flatter. So if you are anything less than a B-cup, you may think twice.

I'm no fashion expert, but I have over the decades noticed that fashion runs in cycles. At least men's fashion does.

Another thing I've noticed, classic designs never go completely out of fashion. Colors and materials might change from time to time, but classics remain classics.

I'm sure some of the ladies here will give more definite advise. This is just my observations.

it would help if shall we see the dress - however the final rule is that flickers are purely for night time. It sounds like it may be nice for going to dinners or something at night extremely - yet no longer in all risk an afternoon dress till it is something particularly fancy (even then - the classic ettiquette regulations say which you're able to no longer positioned on flickers till now 5pm...) human beings are genuine - you could positioned on what you like - yet once you're asking for comments then i might could say to no longer positioned on it till the evenings.
