Reasons of rain fall:

Rain falls due to natural phenomenon of accumulation of water in the form of cloud being vapourised from the ground surface of the earth by sun heat. When the accumulation reaches saturation point, it comes back towards earth as rain.

Reasons of thundering :

Thundering (discharges of enormous electrical voltage) happens due to the electrostatic discharges (statical electricity) amongst the dust particles [belonging to opposite charges i.e. positive (+) or negative (-) attained by frictional phenomenon in natural course] flown upwards due to upward air profile (storm etc.) from the earth surface. Air profile also helps accumulation of cloud displacing them frrom zone to zone in a particularly localised area (may be a very big area also).

Rain and thunder relationship :

Both the thundering and rainfall ,in ideal cases, happen together because in natural phenomenon both belong to a complimentary symmetrical category. When huge air flow accumulates a host of cloud together suitable for rainfall, the air flow also carries huge volume of electrostatically charged dust from earth surface in the upper strata which causes thundering as explained above.

Hence it seems that thundering promotes rainfall.

This happens because the part of the storm that has the most instability (wind movement), the highest cloud tops, also is an area where the most lightening will occur.

because the evaporated gas which is present at the atmosphere will collide each other.therefore only we call it as
thunder.therefore the gas gets precipitated.it results in heavy rain
