I am thinking Lake Wenatchee State Park is the closest state park, might be equal with Wenatchee Confluence in distance, but Lake Wenatchee is 18 miles northwest of Leavenworth, and is available by reservation only for camping. It's a great park, with swimming and such.

If you are interested in camping, then consider the National Forest Service Campground, Tumwater Park. It is a first come-first served campground with 81 sites, 9 miles west of Leavenworth on Highway 2.

We have stayed there, and many sites have a measure of privacy, and there are also campsites where 2 are close together if you are camping with other people. Has flush toilets in the restrooms, and running water, no electricity except at restrooms.
