I have a motorcycle that I leave outside (no garage) and it is starting to rust. How can I remove it or how to just stop it from getting worse?

How can I remove rust from my wheel's lug nuts?

It depends on how deep the rusting is, and how much of it there is. You could use Naval Jelly, if the problem is that serious. For very light, to remove rust you can use a stiff toothbrush and some WD-40. A great way to remove rust is with extra-fine steel wool (grade 4-0 – 8-0). 8-0 will also polish chrome and aluminum. If you do use Naval Jelly, be sure to be careful not to let it get on other surfaces. You also might want to test one lug before using it on all of them.

Autosol is the answer. Just apply a little, polish off, and volia. To prevent rust, you could try coating the rust-prone areas with clear paint. If those areas are chromed, the paint probably won't stay on though. Get a bike cover since you don't have a garage.

KBS Coatings makes a 3 Step system that works great for getting rid of the rust and making sure it does not come back. Check it out here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/KBS-3-Part-System.aspx
