Actually there are 25.4 mm in 1 inch (there are 2.54 cm per inch)

The calculation is straight forward, but not sure if this is what you want:
1.25 threads/mm * 25.4mm/inch = 31.75 threads/inch
Or 31.75 threads per inch

if this helps 25.4mm is 1 inch. But what your describing is 1 and a quarter turns per mm to a thread which gives you a length.unless you have worded wrong??You can take it to a hardware shop, the sparkplug, and try an see which nut fits whether it be a metric or imperial and go from there.
