Try the Unholy, that movie traumatized me for most of my childhood years..
If you decide to watch a scary movie like The Ring or The Ring 2, I suggest after you are done watching both you run right out and rent The Care Bears movie.

I liked Thirteen Ghosts(made ME jump out of my seat!), Gothika, The Ring, The Ring Two, The Grudge 1 and 2, Final Destination (1, II, and III), An American Haunting, all the Hellraiser movies, The Blob (1988 version), Ghost Ship. There's some newer ones out that I'd like to see, like 300, Thr3e, Hills Have Eyes, etc.

The Exorcist just happens to be the greatest horror movie ever made. Big fan of Nightmare on Elm Street also.

You need a real creeper? Only these:
1. The Exorcist (seen it already?)
2. RINGU (the japanese one - w/ subtitles)
3. JU-ON (as above).
4. Tale of Two Sisters (korean)
5. The Descent (simply brilliant)
6. Art of the Devil (Thailand)
7. Dog Soldiers

The Others with Nicole Kidman and The Wicker Man with Nicolas Cage. They are not very scary but very good movies.
