with a jig saw, can any blade saw metal tube or do I need a blade for metal?? ty?

Yes, they make all kinds of blades for metal, wood, etc. A blad designed for wood will saw metal, but not as fast and will wear out quickly.

They do make a blade for metal...it's teeth are fine ( close to each other ) and high speed works good.

Actually, on any saw, manual or power, you should always use the proper blade for the material you are cutting.
