I am really sorry to hear this. You need to get to a doctor asap and request a blood test to check your HCG levels. A follow up blood test will be done after 48 hours to determine whether your HCG is lower or higher. If your levels are up then all is ok, but if your HCG has dropped then I'm sorry to say that you have most likely had a spontaneous miscarriage. Either way you should get to a doctor asap as bleeding in early pregnancy is common but not always ok. I have recently miscarried. I was 7 weeks and all was going along fine. I woke up with very light spotting, it looked and felt like a normal period. By later that day it had become quite heavy and I had some cramping. Nothing out of the ordinary just the usual cramps i have when I get my period. I went to the doctor and had blood tests done and found out that I had miscarried. I hope this is not the case for you but it's best to get looked at asap. I hope that ll goes well for you. Goodluck!

If you took two test with possitive results they were probably correct. Unfortunatly if you are now having a period you are probably miscarrying. You need to see your doctor to make sure what is happening. He will need to find out if you are miscarrying, if you are still pregnant, and if you were able to miscarry completly on your own or if you need a DNC to finish the process. Many women miscarry and don't realize because they were only a week or so late and then they assume they were just late. The good news is it does not mean you are any more likely to miscarry again. In fact if your doctor says everything checks out you are a little less likely to miscarry the next time. My sister lost her first after her period was only 2 weeks late and pregnancy had been confirmed by her doctor. She was devastated , but she now has a 4year old son and a 3 month old son. No more miscarriages or any other problems concieving. Good luck.

Pregnancy Test's can be wrong, but if you are having a Heavy period now, chances are you were pregnant and you miscarried, if you are passing (or have passed) clump's bigger then a quarter (25 cents) they say that is a sign of a miscarrage, but some women very rarely do have their menstrual cycle through out pregnancy, you could be one of them, see a doctor to be sure.

Sorry to hear about this, I know it can be frustrating. If you are wanting to get pregnant again I would advise you to see a Dr. and get a correct testing. If they suspect you were pregnant they need to do a D&C to clean you out.

I never received one and I was only 2 days late and they said I was too early in the pregnancy to warrent it. Bad call, I developed a 102 fever, bad pain where I couldn't walk or bend well, & scarring . I developed pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID) which caused infertility.

I wish you the best,

It sounds like you're having or you've had a miscarriage. You need to get into the Dr. and find out if you've had a blighted ovum or a Chemical pregnancy. A blighted ovum or chemical pregnancy is when the sperm and egg meet and become one but somewhere in the attaching to the wall of your uterus the fetus stops developing, on an ultrasound they will be able to see the "Sack" but it will be empty. Get checked out!

Do not however dismay, this is fairly common and most women go on to have babies just fine!

The tests were not wrong. You need to call an advice nurse right now, you could be miscarrying. You can not have an actual period while pregnant, but some women do report period like bleeding. I had that and my baby was fine and there were no complications, but it needs to reported to your OB.

No you are losing it but at that early stage there is nothing really to loose apart from some cell where the egg and the sperm met and fertilized but it has not attached to your womb.

so sorry i know what your going through as i have had two of these in the past year

go to your GP

Good luck xx

I would call your OB, since you had two lines on your test it could be that you are having a miscarrage.
Talk to your dr
