If no external leak can be found, then it's probably a blown head gasket which might also show up as white smoke coming from the tailpipe when the engine is running. Have the system pressure tested by a shop and possibly dye tested to look for an external leak if pressure test is good.In some extreme cases, it can also leak into the transmission via the trans cooler lines on an automatic type car but that would show up as trans problems as well.

Well, there could be a few reasons why. There is probably a leaky hose. Do you see any place where it is wet from a leak? Let your car idle and look under your car to see if there is antifreeze dripping from some where. or if there is a green puddle under your car. Then try to look under the hood to see where it is coming from. If that isnt it, the you may have a blown head gasket which is more serious. If your car heats up before all the antifreeze leaks out, that may be what you have. But i would check for a leak first.

It sounds like you have a serious leak. Check under your car after it has been parked for a while and see if there is a puddle of coolant underneath your car. Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, etc. have metal alloy stuff you can put into your radiator to seal the crack, but eventually you will need to take it in for servicing. If your car overheats, it could bend the pistons inside the engine.

You obviously have a leak. Look under your car and see if you can tell where it is coming from. There should be some evidence after you refill the radiator as well. After filling, immediately look under your car.

Check your old level. if it is way over filled more then likely you have a cracked head or blown head gasket. I have seen numbers of cracked head and blown head gaskets on Geo's.
