It's getting quite tiring, I'd like to knock off.
This problem, it started 'round quarter to ten,
(after I hurried my son quickly to bed)
I read him a story I really do like.
It's about a sweet elephant who finds a who
I read it especially when we're sick with the flu
I think the name's Horton, oh, I'm teasing-
I know it is,
I'd marry this elephant, that's just how it is.
He's cute and endearing and all of that twice
He saves the whos from a bird who's not nice!
Yet now I'm stuck with each set of thoughts
Rhyming in rhythms and it just won't shut off.

There once was a pelican named Izzie.
Who ate fishes until she was dizzy.
But the fishes didn't mind,
To be treated so unkind.
They were just glad to keep her so busy.

If your thoughts are not nice, you should put them on ice.
Because birds of a feather often flock together.
If your thoughts do not shut off, think of poor Hasselhoff.
His girl tapes him drunk. You think you're in a funk?
Again, take my advice. Put those thoughts on ice.

Distract yourself, cut the grass, watch a movie, keep busy and your thoughts should subside on your own. I'm sure it is a temporary problem.
