you can get swimming lessons, and you can wear swimming goggles they will help your eyes burning.
keep it up 10 laps is good, and remember to breath every couple of strokes..

It's really never to late for swimming lessons and I know that you can swim, but if you would like to improve your stroke style, and make your swimming more enjoyable I highly recommend some adult lessons and you wont need to many for a vast improvement on your swimming,(and yes I'm a good swimmer, and I love to swim)

i used to train professionally but then my skating took up too much time and i had to choose (i choose skating)

when i was about 11 years old our warm up (of a 25 meter pool was:

4 lengths of butterfly
8 lengths backstoke
16 lengths breaststoke
32 lengths frontcrawl
16 lengths backcrawl
8 lengths backstroke
4 lengths butterfly.

and then we had a proper lesson on technique.
and this was 5 days a week. i swam nationally and i might have been able to do international but i gave up.

just practice or ask a trainer at 24 hour fitness to help you.
that's their job to help you, make them work for their money.
and i would sugest wearing googles and/or bringing milk to put into your eyes afterwards.
it really helps.
i would guess i'm a good swimmer because i'm on my school's varsity swim team and i'm only a freshman.
well good luck.

You wrote God swimmer. I thought, "How is He going to swim if He's always wearing that silly robe?"

Nope, not at all. I'm kind of scared of the water. If it gets above like boob level, I start to panic.
