I need to be able to swim 200 meters (about 200 yards) in 6 minutes. I can currently swim 75 meters in about 1 1/2 minutes. I need to be able to do this by June 8th. So that's a little over 2 weeks. I'm in pretty good physical and cardiovascular shape. I just need to learn to swim efficiently.

just keep on practicing.
work on sprinting and enderance work.
and practice everyday.
and 200 meters is not around 200 yards it quite a bit bigger.
if you can currently swim 75 meters in 1 1/2 minutes that means that you can swim 150 meters in 3 minutes at that same pace and you can swim 200 meters in 3 1/2 minutes at that same pace.
you just need to learn how to pace your self and you'll have plenty of time.

i would say slowly increase your swim workout, first try doing 75 meters in 1.5 minutes a few times..then try for 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 and so on..and get a friend or two to workout with you, whenever i have to swim alone i get tragically bored and not motivated at all
