My husband is from Italy and we are having a daughter. My husband goes by the name Lee and wants to name our daughter either Basil Leigh or Bella Leigh to honor his home. Which do you like? I know that Basil is considered a boy name, but I have found out that their are girls with that name also! THANKS!!!

I think Basil Leigh is really cute. It has personal meaning to you and your husband. Who cares if it's a boy's name? My name is Alex... Alexandria. I love having a boy's. I really think the best thing to do is have some names ready, and then decide when you finally have the baby, she might not be a Basil Leigh at all.

think of the poor kid getting teased by morons at school when she's school age and all those kids telling her BASIL IS WHATS USED IN FOOD..
