1st turn off the hot wtr valve under the sink off, now take the hose off the faucet-----hold that line over a bucket and turn the wtr back on---- if you have pressure there then the problem is in the faucet. if you do not have any pressure then the problem is at the valve. turn ur wtr heater supply off then drain the pressure at the sink . most new houses have compresson style valve on them. take the valve off and should be able to see the problem that is blocking the wtr from coming out of the valve----clean and re-install the valve re hook up the line to the faucet open the valve to the wtr heater and this should fix the problem.

Since you installed a new kitchen faucet, and it still does not work, then it is likely something BEFORE the faucet. For example, the hot water pipe leading to the faucet. Otherwise, check any kind of valves that may be leading to from your hot water supply to the faucet.

Shut the hot water supply valve under the sink off. Disconnect the supply tube. Hold a rag over the valve and turn it on and off a few times. This should clear the valve of debris. While the line is disconnected, hold a container under it (make sure the hot faucet is turned on) and turn on the cold water faucet. This may backflush the hot supply line.

If the water is running, water pressure up stairs, there must be a problem either under the sink a knob for the hot water is not turned all the way, or the hot water heater knob is not turned up ,do you have a separate line going to the kitchen or there is a vacuum in the hot water line, follow the hot waterline to the kitchen you said it is a new house there could be a bend in the line

Have you checked the angle stops below the kitchen sink to see if the valve for the hot water is all the way open? How new is the construction of your home? Sometimes there can be a calcium build up of hard water minerals over a period of time. Please feel free to email me if you have any more concerns. Gene

Disconnect the hot water line from the sink. Turn the shutoff valve on all the way. Yes, it will make a mess! you can catch most of it in a bucket, if you have more than a trickle! If you still have a trickle, I would suspect a kinked hot water supply line.

detach the faucet and let the water flow free. if there is enough water pressure without the faucet then you must check the filter on the tip of the faucet. also check the valve connecting to your faucet if it is turned full clockwise.
