I'm assuming you meant Chris Leak, not Leek. He was signed by the Bears as an undrafted free agent. It appears Chicago is trying to corner the market on short Florida quarterbacks.

Yeah, nobody picked him in the draft, likely because he's so small and wasn't really that "big" of a QB in college. Sure he won the championship with the Gators, but the team was better than he was as a player, if that makes sense. It would be like if Chicago won the Super Bowl last year...nobody would say that Grossman won the game..it would be Urlacher and the defense. (And yeah, Chicago did take him as a free agent)

He was an undrafted free-agent addition to the bears. His lack of size lowered his draft stock, and now he will probably be 3rd string in chicago.

Chicago signed him as a free agent. They like short, worthless, interception throwing, ex-Florida QB's. They won't have to teach him how to suck, he already does. Perfect fit for Chicago.
