Elvis was the King of Rock N Roll who happened to get addicted to prescription drugs. I don't think any different of Elvis because of it. I'm just sad that was the big reason why he died.

I say King of Rock N Roll cuz his drug problem became apparent only in his later life, and that which he died from, but his legacy as the King is what people remember. Besides, so many many very good and talented people loose their battles with additions. Unfortunately, he was one of them, ..human.

King. The drugs found in his system were all legit drugs used to treat his heart condition. I've actually been reading up on him since I came back from Graceland last week. Did you know he was a twin of a still born?

He was a great performer, actor and served our country. Not many can say that today.

He had a love for the average person too. Very humble under it all. He never lost his roots coming from next to nothing. He promised his folks he would take care of them and they would never have to worry again.

I feel that if it wasn't for him,we wouldn't have Rock&Roll now. It's sad that he was a sleepwalker, and they had to prescribe sleeping pills for him.The world was naive at his time.Who would have known, that he was to become addicted to prescription meds.It happened to many celebrities during that time.He was the King of Rock&Roll,he inspired many musicians.
