The dash itself should have several small phillips screws holding it to the metal frame of the dash--remove the screws and try to work it away from the dash, then unplug the wires from the gauges and lights and mark each one as to where it goes...draw a diagram if you need. Or else, you can crawl under the dash with a trouble light and try to remove them from behind again marking them as you go. Those old cars had tons of room compared to modern ones but you may have to remove some items to gain access to all the wiring.
