There is a little known phoneme-a-noun where both genres wear these suits while participling in water sports. The males wear Monophthongs (and they tend to dangle a bit) while the females wear dipthongs. They are longer and smoother especially when the women are well envoweled.

As a speech teacher myself, I can safely say that I never let my participles dangle in a dipthong.
