most likely they will pull your pants down, but dont worry its your body and the doctors shouldnt judge you or mention anything. as for the growth of the hair it wont grow very much. i had this same problem, i shaved right before i went to the doctor and my doctor told me that it was my body and just to respect it. so you just do the same and stay safe.

Hair on any part of the body grows approximately 3/4 of an inch per month, except the hair on your head which is not self-limiting like body hair. Therefore, you'll probably have stubble for several weeks. However, if I were you, I would worry more about the possibility of ovarian cysts than I would about the pubic hair. It's nothing to be embarrassed about, as everyone past adolescence has hair down there. The ovaries are higher up than the pubic hair, so I doubt if it will show, and even if it does, no one is going to sit in judgment of you, or make any comments whatsoever. The last thing a health care professional would do is call attention to something that would embarrass a young girl. So go ahead and have your ultra sound, dear, and I hope everything turns out okay -- that you don't have any cysts. Good luck!

I think they will have you in a gown, so more than likely that area may be seen at some point. I do not think your hair will grow back much before your appointment. Try not to stress over that though sweetie. It is not a big deal to the dr. A lot of older women shave that area on a regular basis. I have 17 year old girl that lives with me and she shaves. So that will not be anything that will shock a dr. if you are worried about what your mother might think, I doubt she will be upset with you over it. It is just something girls/women do.

Again, it could take at least two weeks to grow back.
By Tuesday it will be stubble.
They won't judge you if they see you've shaved down there.
They probably see it more often than you think.

I wouldn't worry about it. Shave it again if it bugs you that bad. But shaving too often will just irritate you and make you uncomfortable.

i dont think it will grow too much. but remember, dont be embarassed because they are medical professionals and they are very mature. they normally put you in a gown for ultra sounds, at least they did when i had mine done(i had 3: one for ovarian cysts((didnt have them =])), and 2 on my heart)
