After I used the link that you provided and copied the picture to a picture editor and lightened it up so that I could see your friends nose I think that his nose looks fine.

I like it - my sons and I have the same nose!
Seriously, it is in proportion to his face; [ the nose is always the biggest feature on the face ] and it's not bigger than his ears.
How old is he? Other parts of his face are still growing.

I agree with felicia. THERE IS NO PICTURE! Not to burst your bubble or anything but if he AND others think it's big, it probably is. Unless he's poor, suggest a nose job. I have a big nose but it works for me so I don't need a nose job. YAY ME! :-)

Alittle big, but I have seen a lot worse. At least it don't have a big hump in it. He's still cute.

its not bad!! It is a LITTTLE big but it fits his face so tell him not to worry about it.
