If you would like an honest answer from a 40 year old woman who has been married for 12 years.
It is as important as you make it.
Some couples vary, Some will say yes and some will say no, the most important thing is that your partner and you communicate about it.
If the communication lines are open, then things will go along naturally.
It's when they stop that things go wrong.Believe me, my hubby and I have both been married before and openly discuss everything this time round. ♥

Its important but no more important than any other part of a relationship. It's a balancing act so to speak. It cant be the most important part because that will be what takes up the least part of your time together.

Yes I think making love is important part of a relationship and there are so many things in a relationship to make it a strong and lasting one.

Yes it is imperative just like the 20 other important things!! You need all of the really important things to have a true relationship, every last one of them or you will end up without the person you are with!! If you have a cake and it is missing the baking powder then you will have problems!! Cake is a metaphor for a romantic relationship BTW!

Of course! Depending on your beliefs and your relationship but in a typical relationship between two people who love each other there comes a point when both are ready to commit to one another and make that step. Whether you believe this is after marriage or on the 3rd date, at some point sex is important.

Of course, I mean it is nice to be able to talk to someone, or even have someone that you can enjoy the quiet with and not feel uncomfortable. But sex is a way to show the person just how much you enjoy having them around. To some it may not be important but it is very important in my relationships.

Yes, as long as intimacy is involved and it's not just mechanical movements. I need everything that's involved in having a relationship. It's important but just a slice of what makes a couple work.

well relationship is a big word. I'm hesitant to say yes because of 12 and 13 year olds who think they have a relationship and will get married some day.
