I am a new writer who is very cheep and dosent wanna spend alot of money. I am looking for a laptop type device that i can type up my story on while i am out or on the couch or where ever and then transfer what ive written for the day over to my PC. But the thing is that i am very poor (lol sigh) and i dont need all the crap that they sell me with a basic laptop. All i want is a word type program that can be trasfered to my PC at the end of the day and it be portable... Any suggestions would be great and LINKS ARE NEEEEEDDDDEEEDDD!!!! thnx!

No not like bluetooth i need something to type stuff up on not a way to send it think laptop but different....

Try Ebay or your neighborhood pawn shop if all you need is something to type with then get the cheepest thing you can buy (just make shure it has a USB II port and buy a thumb chip to transfer your stuff. Here's a few laptops

Most any thing that will run the open source office (star office comes to mind but...). A p2 233 with 128 mb mem and a USB port and/or ethernet port will do that. The biggest problem with laptops is the battery life.

life is tough on the poor people of this world. though you do have a computer to do your work on so it's better you get off your back and sit at the computer and do your writing there
if you can't afford the software then there are the excellent free bee word processor from open office you can download free and use without paying, a office suite better than MS office 2007,
