No.

By the time he was 22, Magic Johnson had won two titles and was MVP of the finals both times.

Lebron might win a title this year, but the odds are probably slightly against that happening.

It is possible that Lebron might have been the best NBA rookie to come straight from high school though in terms of immediate impact. Moses Malone was a better player as a rookie, but spent his rookie season in the ABA.

Other than Malone, Lebron is probably the best player ever to enter the pros straight out of high school, in terms of being ready for the jump... lots of guys who went to the pros from high school later because outstanding players, like Garnett, Kobe and T-Mac...but Lebron's been better over his first 4 years in the pros than any player to come out of high school with the exception of Moses Malone.

Lebron loses some points because the NBA as a whole isn't exactly full of mature grown men any more, the way the pros were when Malone came out of high school. The NBA is full of guys who never finished college, so Lebron has actually been competing against a LOT of guys who would still be college players had they chose to go that route.

That Magic Johnson fellow was pretty good at that age. He won a championship in his first year in the league, and was considered a superstar in his second (which is where LeBron would be now if he'd come out after his sophomore year as Magic did).

Don't want to take anything away from LeBron, though. He's a thrilling player to watch.

lets see, hes scored a lot of points , makes highlight reels every night, but he was put on a team with no legitimate stars, when another good player looked like he might need the ball more to excel he was moved out (boozer)...some people think its a foregone conclusion that he will be the best ever or win a number of titles just because he is good right now...while the fact is...he may never be a champion unless he leaves Cleveland or they move that coach...yep, he will not be a champion until he gets to his next team...so that best ever at his age will be old hat when he gets as old as Magic was when he led the Lakers to a title, playing every position in the finals after Kareem got hurt, against a very very good 76er team that featured Julius Erving...he will be as old as Magic was then, and still not have a title...then what will all you stat chasers say...

Hes showing a lot of talent and skill at his young age. But it all depends on the health of a person, obviously a skilled unhealthy player will be at a disadvantage against an average healthy player. Point is lets just hope he keeps healthy because the skill he brings is already proven.

im a hardcore kobe fan so saying no he sucks is almost an instinct but i think that he is b/c he has been put on a team that has no decent players and accomplished good things with them as to were kobe and wade both had shaq
with that said though i think kobe wouldhave been way better if he was stuck with on a less talented team from the start
