If you ran faster than the speed of light around the earth you would beet the sun, and go back in time one day, if youre shoes were untied when at that exact time the last day, in whatever place you crossed over into the past youre shoes would untie. if visa versa they would tie themeselves, however, then that would change the fact of whether you tied youre shoes in the future after that point. so, then you would have gone back in time and found the opposite of whatever you found to be true, hence the shoes could neither be tied or untied, and would be in a state of eternal half tiedness.

That is a concern. If you run faster than the speed of light you might travel back in time and then the shoe laces would be untied again. The only problem I see is as the leg going forward is traveling even faster and it would be shorter leading to an annoying limp in each direction.

No, it's cool, you don't have to. Trust me, I run "fater" than the speed of light all the time.

Shoe laces alway untie at the most inopportune moments. Use Velcro.

Absolutely, positively, definitely, --YES-- they would. (I have no idea exactly what, but they certainly would)
