once my cousin got into some big trouble with one of his white friends and they got sent to jail. when they went to court his white friend blamed the whole thing on him and the court believed him. my cousin had to serve time by himself even tho his friend did most of the crime. the jury was mostly white and you could tell by the way they looked at my cousin that they thought he was sh!t.

also i once heard a teacher mumble ****** under his breath and that really hurt me because i really liked that teacher and thought he was really cool but i guess not

im half african and half dominican and i have met some white dominicans at parties who are really rude to black ppl and black domicans. they think they're better b/c they're basically all white.

there are tons of other examples i can give but yah racism is everywhere and it sux

It's crazy really...because "people of color" were the ones doing the discrimination against me.

It was when I was in middle school, I had pants that fit on me correctly and I had T- shirts of the same size. I would hang around anyone who was cool with me, it didn't matter much what race they were...but anyways, I was walking to school one day, as I was about to turn a corner...a kid ran up behind me and punched me in the face...I was still standing...so a second one followed suit, I was hurt but they couldn't bring me down (I was just too big...nothing tough about it). so they left laughing, I could hear the word Oreo...back then I didn't have a clue what they meant... now I know.

I was beaten for being intellegent...

I hated my own race for so long for doing this to me, I have a couple other stories that could bring a better idea...but it doesn't matter because now I love all people no matter what race or religion (of course if it's not oppressive towards others).

even for what they have done to me..which leaves me with heavy scars physically and mentally, I still have sympathy for them and I still love my people..course now I'm a high ranked amateur boxer so things like this won't happen to me again.

As for other races discriminationg agains me for my color, I wouldn't be able to count how many times it has happened, but I don't care..because all it is...is just talk...and I'm too busy moving foward to my future to care about talk...

As a person of white color, I've been subject to racism as a victim of affirmative action in the workplace. Also I've been a victim of racial double standards commited by the press! Also as a person of white color, I've been a victim of ridicule aimed at white people such as: White folks can't dance...etc. Why can't we all understand the principle of fairness and equal treatment?

i am white, but i mean no dis-respect for any black people so please dont get me wrong. i moved from a mostly white state to pennsylvania 4 years ago, where there are alot of black people. well, my neighbors were 2 black women. we became instant friends. well, i never knew people actually had different names for different races. well, one day somebody warned me about street monkeys( ive only been here a week at htis point) said they only come out at night, and will get you. well, needless to say it scared the hel out of me. i thought htey were talking about actuall monkeys. i flat out refused to go outside at night. well, one evening, i was sitting outside talking to my neighbors, it was dark. i kept looking around. they asked me what i was looking for. in all innocense, i told them i was watching for street monkeys. ( i was talking with my black neighbors) they gave me the strangest look. and asked my why. i told them what the man at hte store told me. well, they started laughing hard. i didnt find it very funny. well, they finally quit laughing, and told me what a street monkey was. i felt so bad. they told me not to worry about it. i was actually pretty emmbarrassed about it. i didnt realize i was making a rasist remark. then they went on to tell me that peopole like to call black people all kinds of different names. ive only ever heard one name before, from the tv. and i wont say that word, i hate it. well, they still like to tease me about that. easpeially when one of their friends are there and their friend is black( not teasing me meanly) i get all red in the face, but everybody knows it is a joke. well ,about two years ago, i was called a cracker( by a black person) i was wondering why the hell somebody would call me a cracker. well, i mentioned it to my friend( black) and they explained it to me, what a cracker is, ( not the kind you eat) i just said oh, i didnt know what to say, now they call me their little cracker. lol where i come from, we have no rasism, there are a few black people, they are treated the same as anybody else. with respect. moving to pennsylvania really showed me how people think about the persons race or color, before they get to know the person. that is rude. black, white, mexican, what ever. doesnt matter to me, im a people person. ill talk to anybody. we are after all, al gods creation.we all breath the same air.

When I got my first job at the age of 16 this girl that wasnt even my boss but higher than me was telling my co-workers that were also friends at my highschool how the black girl doesnt do anything and how i hide in the back... i worked at a clothing store and had to go in the back in boxes for inventory and clothes that customers wanted that werent up front. I was tired of it so i quit during rush week and got at least 8 other people to quit with me! haha and iam not even black iam mixed. My bosses also used to call me by several other black girls names that worked there and then would say we all looked alike.

I was teased a lot for having light-skin (it is a mocha color), talking proper (my parents did not tolerate ignorance or slang), and for having long hair. I am black and the people who teased me were black too, some were even related to me.

The question should be asked of Whites and Asians. Not a single one of us managed to escape the hateful racism that blacks project on the rest of society.
