I don't like it for a boy or a girl. Makes me think of Screech (Dustin Diamond).

I think Dustin should stick to being a boy name, you wouldn't want kids calling your little princess Dusty Dustin!!!!
Your kid, though!
Dustin Drew
Dustin LeAnn
Dustin Amiya
Dustin Lynn
Dustin Madison or Madison Dustin
Hope this helps!!!
Congrats and Good Luck!!!!!

I'm pretty sure Dustin is a boys name, but if you are going to use it then I suggest something girlie after it like Rae, Rose, Bree. Something girly.

I think it's a boy name and should stay a boy name. If we keep using boy names on our girls, what are we going to name our boys in 15 years? I think it's silly that people think it's cute to give your daughter a "strong" name (aka a boys name), because all that really does is perpetuate the idea that females are weaker then males. Bad idea, I think a feminine name with a boyish nickname is a better option, if necessary.

I think it's pretty cool. Maybe change up the spelling, such as Dustyn and that way you can call her Dusty. I always loved the name Dusty for a girl. As for a middle name, you got me there!
