Should i say , we MIGRATED to United States or we IMMIGRATED to United States?

Migrate is an movement along a path.

Immigrate is the movement into a country.

Both are correct, it would just be a choice of which point of view you wish to emphasize. The moving or the moving in to the country.

you would say we immigrated to the United states because birds migrate in the winter they fly north you immigrated to the United states

I believe that either would be appropriate. For the purpose of your sentence, the two words can be used interchangably.

Like: My family migrated to the United States.
Or: My family immigrated to the United States.

They both sound OK.

Migrate is to move from a region to another. Immigrate is from a country to another.
