I think if he had maintained his focus on Osama Bin Laden like he said he was going to do, I think his support would probably better than it is right now. However, if he would have followed through with what he said he would do, namely find the person who was responsible for 9/11, then he wouldn't find himself as the pariah that he is now. He made a choice to le and now he has to suffer the consequences of those lies--namely a total distrust of the American people

As far as liberals go and voting to go ahead with the war after 9/11, the information given to them was a concoction of lies fabricated by the presiden'ts and his men to get into a war we had no business in.

i think that alot of people supported iraq at first had iraq not been the second longest war in US history and such a disaster he probably would have alot more support but probably not at the same high as 9/11 of course at 26% percent approval it cant get much worse

Good question.. I suspect the liberals would be bashing him for not following up and invading Iraq and ousting Saddam after he invaded Afghanistan. After all, they voted to give him the authority to do just that shortly after the events of 9/11.

Isn't hindsight great? Too bad it's not available when the tough decisions are actually made.

Yes, good decisions require respect, and loyalty. The choices of this administration from the time of the beginning of Iraq war have been atrocious.

Not as much as just after 9/11 but definatly more. I know I would respect him a lot more.

I don't think they would be AS supportive as during that time, but I do think he would have more respect and credibility with the American people than he does right now. I also think that people wouldn't look at him in the way of him being a criminal.

if he got Osama... he would be like Lincoln... a hero...

but we ran off to Iraq which had very little, a best, to do with 9-11...

too bad he said he didn't really care about Osama...

No because most of those who do not support him would find something else to complain about.

They don't like Our President, because he has the seat of Power. They want it. And they don't know how to get it back? Unless they cry and complain. They have nothin'. So they have to stoop to other methods.
