How you would react to others in the social environment. For example, if you have STRONG people skills, you will have good body language, eye contact, being comfortable and the ability to relate to the ones you are speaking to. POOR social skills usually involve making others uncomfortable, not relating in the proper way, and not having that empathy that people usually have.

A person's ability to make other people feel at ease and comfortable and able to enjoy an event, be it conversation, dinner, a movie, or sporting event.

Probably some basic psychology to read peoples body language and mood.Knowing your limits and theirs should help.I think some people might give you their life story and than regret telling you anything by believing you're conspiring against them somehow. It takes all kinds you know.
