I read once where sharks have to move all the time or they will die. So, I guess either they don't sleep or they sleep swim. (like sleep walk)

Almost all sharks have to keep moving to keep water flowing over their gills or they will die. The only exception I know of to that rule is the Nurse Shark. They may go into a less active state but they do not sleep like we do.

I recently saw something on the Discovery Channel where a large group of tiger sharks would meet in a channel and rest there. They'd just let themselves be carried back and forth by the current to keep water moving through their gills while not having to expend energy on swimming.

Actually because of their prehistoric makeup, the shark has to keep moving to be able to breathe through their peephole and they glide or float across the water like in suspended animation.
