Midnight Marauders is definitely one of my favorite hip hop albums of all time, if not my favorite. Many always mention The Low End Theory as the Tribe's best album, but I MUST disagree. I mean......The Low End Theory is Top 20 material, but Midnight Marauders is Top 5 material.
The production on T.L.E.T. was mostly all real good, but all the beats on this album are GREAT. It's still hip hop with a touch of jazz, but it's even better this time around. "Keep It Rollin'", which was produced by produced Large Professor aka 'Extra P', still keeps the Tribe's vibe.
Q-Tip and Phife keep the ill lyrics coming throughout the entire album. Phife Dawg steps up his lyrical game once again, while The Abstract stays tight with his smart lyrics and hot rhymes, even though he seems a bit sharper on here than on the last album. The chemistry between the two MCs is great, as they seems to be even more a duo/tag team on this album.
Probably the most well known songs on here are "Award Tour", "Electric Relaxation", and "Oh My..". There is not one bad song or weak song, it's all top-notch intelligent music. The guests are Trugoy(from De La Soul) and Busta Rhymes, who do hooks on separate songs, and Large Professor spits a hot verse on one song.
This is a must-have for all real hip hop fans. Another timeless classic from A Tribe Called Quest. Dope beats and dope rhymes, what more could you ask for?

The Source gave both albums 4.5 mics. Styles are totally different. I would give the edge to Wu-Tang Clan because it was their 1st album and Midnight Marauders was A Tribe Called Quest's 3rd Album. I have both and loved both. Both are on my all-time favorite hip-hop album's list.

So Tribe Called Quest isn't classic! Midnight marauders is the best album ever put out by a group with Raisin Hell Enter the 36 straight outta compton and strickly buisness but Marauders is the best to me

WU TANG CLAN aint nothing to f*uck with!!!, but if you had've said A Tribe Called Quest's Low End Theory instead of their Midnight Marauders thennnn.........TIE!!

Depends on what you're feeling, I personally copped both when they dropped and wasn't disappointed in either. If I wanted raw energy, wildin' out before the club, definitely the Wu(see "Clan in Da Front", "Protect Ya Neck", " Shame on a N*#*a", etc..). But if you wanted to chill, puff a L, mack a skirt, Midnight was the joint, Tribe's best CD hands down, its like apples and oranges, dog.....
