I'm surprised to hear that. I heard this season was really well watched, plus they finally have a movie coming out this summer. Are you SURE they're getting canceled?

it's not so much canceling as a farewell. it was way out of date in our new technological world. it took 6 moths to produce just one simpsons episode, so it wasn't producing enough of a profit to stay on TV.

Because it doesn't have the same wit or charm that it used to let's face it after all these years all the plots are either forced or tired.
