Used to be pretty gullible when I was young, but now after some hard knocks in real life, you better off taking a pinch of salt of whatever you heard ,be it from friends, relatives , politicians and especially the media.

i have trouble hearing everything anyway and my hearing aids have messed up again in less then 4 months.
so no i don't believe a good deal of what i hear. i have to keep asking people to repeat themselves most often i think because what they said made no sense but also because it gives the stupid people time to rethink what the hell they said in the first place.

there's an old saying "don't believe everything you hear, and only half of what you see."

In today's world you have to figure almost everything you hear is only the part of the story the messenger wants you to hear, or the version of the story the messenger wants you to believe.

Yes, I trust my ears work fine and that I've heard "them" correctly. However, I compare what I know to what they say and decide if it's worthy of believing, questionable and requires more research, or if I already know it to be a farce.

Of course not. I mean, I believe I heard it, I just don't always trust the content. This seems a silly question, really.

Heck no

Believe none of what you hear and 1/2 of what you see.

I don't believe anything I hear, but if it ever turns out right I can say I knew that!
