ARod is of Dominican decent by way of both his parents... a 1st Generation American of his family.
He was born in NYC and moved to the Dominican from the ages of about 4 until 9 or so...then moved Miami.

Well Alex was born in New York but his parents are both Dominican. He moved to the Dominican Republic for a few years and then moved to Miami. I love A-Rod!! GO A-ROD!! i love you!! GO YANKEES!!! =)
