My car's alignment recently got worse, I didn't hit anything or bump any curbs, so I'm wonder what could have caused it to get worse, how bad is it for the car, and how much does it usually cost to fix it?

Usually a car goes out of alignment due to hitting pot holes, bumps, or any jarring of the suspension. It will usually run about $50.00 to $100.00 to get it re-aligned. It is best to use a shop that uses lasers to align your car.

you probably just hit pot holes in the road and that's enough to throw your alignment off, depending on the vehicle an alignment cost around $50 and the consequences of a car being out of align is wearing out your tires prematurely.

Normal wear of suspension components can also affect alignment. It won't necessarily hurt your car, but tire life can decrease dramatically.
