I'm still confused if this one is 64 bit or 32 bit

Yes ... it is 64 bit.

For the person who said it does not exist ... it does.

As opposed to the 6400 (with 2MB cache) the 6420 has 4MB cache.

yes, the E6400 (i think you meant that, as the E6420 doesn't exist) is 64 bit. the entire Intel lines of Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Quad, Core Duo, Xeon... are all 64 bit. Most modern processors are 64 bit. Older processors, such as P4 processors are generally 32 bit.

As a side note: If you are buying a new computer, buy a 64 bit processor. Windows Vista is the last windows OS to be 32 bit, so plan for the future...

this is a dual core 32 bit processor not a 64 bit. in otherword 2 processors in tandem rather than cumulative.

I have a dual core but think it only comes as 64 bit.
