I bought a 10 gal. tank and gravel for the fish and a partner too!
But both of them are on the bottom, not very frightnened but they're cooperating with each other and they're near eachother alot, but they dont play around, they both sit on the bottom motionlessly. I dont know whats wrong with these two...Am I doing something wrong with these goldfish?

I doubt you are doing anything wrong. It can take several days for them to settle into their new environment. Give them several hiding places and keep the light on only about 8-10 hours a day and they will get more comfortable and move around more.

well fair goldfish are under a lot of stress, so they're going to take a while to act normal.

however, while a 10gallon is much better than what most people provide, it's still not nearly enough for a fair goldfish. they are common goldfish who get to be up to 24" and really should be in ponds. it will (and if it's new friend is the same size it will too) quickly outgrow that tank. I would enjoy their company for a while, but start looking for somewhere near your that had a fish pond and will take them, unless you want a few hundred gallons tank.

of course they can live many years in them tank you have most likely (as long as there's a good filter, I'd get one for a 30 or 40gallon tank). this is called stunting though, they stop growing but their insides don't. obviously this will eventually kill them. it's a slow death but it's also very painful.

10 gallons isn't enough space for one goldfish, let alone two. They require some 30 gallons per fish; don't let anyone tell you they can live in a bowl, because they're dead wrong. That said... how long have they been in this tank? If less than a day, they're probably still adjusting. Also, if the water is stagnant (i.e. no filter to move it around), they tend to get sluggish.

As I reported the day till now right this moment - return it wholesome goldfish with suited environments are curious and lively - they do no longer hide or act the way yours is You as much as date your question approximately the way it is doing yet left out imparting us with information approximately its tank length, filtration, and in case you place the tank by way of a "suited" nitrogen cycle in case you think of you're under pressure, attempt to think of how that fish could be feeling sitting in a tank it is greater beneficial than in all risk killing it and it has no administration over the area So i will say it returned - return the fish till now it dies in case you come it now it may desire to have a guess if the keep can get it into an suitable ecosystem ~ ok,i'm no longer attempting to be rude right here yet i've got been preserving those adult men for over 10 years, and that i'm telling you there is something very incorrect going on with the ecosystem on your tank if it is no longer curious, lively and consistently hungry in case you probably did no longer positioned your tank by way of a suited nitrogen cycle - meaning as already reported, 4-6 weeks of a source of ammonia till your water parameters are examining suited, you could desire to return that fish or it is going to die - it already is 20g bare minimum for a single oranda with double the filtration and a thoroughly time-honored tank earlier to introducing it is a to blame proprietor and return that fish so it may desire to have a guess in the event that they are in a position to get it right into a longtime ecosystem those adult men gets vast and could genuinely stay over a decade if saved precise no longer something on the topic of the behaviour of your fish is generic and that i'm guessing its ecosystem is at fault
