What does the word "Brazier" mean under every single Dairy Queen sign that I see? That word has been there for years, but I've never known why.

Most Dairy Queens are not Braziers. A regular Dairy queen serves just ice cream. A DQ Braziers serves burgers, hot dogs, fries, etc.

In some areas Dairy Queens are known as Braziers.

I've been bummed for years. My town tore down our Dairy Queen to make a parking lot for the hospital next door. Now where am I supposed to get my Blizzard fix?

Mmmmm Dairy Queen has the best butterscotch sundaes..

I think Brazier has something to do with them selling hot dogs as well as frozen treats... Stick to just the ice cream... LOL

1) A metal pan for holding burning coals or charcoal.
2)A cooking device consisting of a charcoal or electric heating source over which food is grilled.

I'm guessing the second one because the sign is probably saying as well as an ice cream we seve hot dogs etc.

If you Google just the word "brazier", you will get your answer. 2 definitions come up, one listed as the North American definition meaning: barbecue. So I've cream AND burgers etc. Hope this helps!
