To me, racists are a few noodle-headed azzholes sitting behind computers saying things they would never dare say to peoples faces. Truly, I'm not intimidated or impressed!

That's a good attitude to have about any sort of negative comment, racial or not. All people should learn to let things go more often, and just remember that its always better to walk away. Shows maturity to be able to turn away from ignorant comments made by others who are probably upset and insecure about thier own lives and feel the need to try and take it out on others in a negative way.
There is no point in attempting to argue with ignorant people anyhow, because they won't heed rational thinking if they are being racist.

racist comments, some people could care less, just depends on what upsets them. racist actions, now thats the real problem. unfortunately, most racist cannot just contain their racism to that of just making verbal comments. it usually will eventually role over into something bigger and waayyy more dangerous.

Yes and no. Props for you for letting comments roll off your back, because they are obviously being made by ignorant people, period, so who really cares what they think anyway. But I personally get very upset when I hear racial comments because it is inappropriate and plain stupidity. But there are always going to be ignorant people in this world, so I think your approach is a good one. You can't change people's attitudes so just don't even pay them mind. Unless if makes you angry or upset, in that case it is important to stick up for what you believe in.

Well for me I'm just not allowed to care.
If I cared about racist comments directed at me I would be called racist.
But I just wouldn't care anyways.

People take things like racists comments too seriously, everyone has said something racists at one time or another, they'd be lieing if they said they hadn't.

Personally I believe to be racist is a form of ignorance....and words that are hurtful are mean and distasteful. What if there were no colors...what would shallow people talk about then?

I agree that racist, there comments are bad, but sadly their is no way to stop it so just stay stroung and dont get jaded. best of luck!

I believe it depends on the circumstances, and if the person saying the comment was trying to be hurtful.
