Liers all of them.
Ted Kennedy invited the American Civil Liberties Union,
the National Immigration Law Center, the National Council
of La Raza, the Service Employees International Union,
the Chamber of Commerce and the Essential Worker
Immigration Coalition to help him craft his
comprehensive immigration-reform bill.
Completely ignored in this process are American citizens!
I am outraged, that any attempt to draft a legitimate
immigration bill that would satisfy the American people
has been stolen away by "open-border" lobbyists!
That's why I've added my name to this important
Grassfire.org petition, and why I'm inviting you to do the
same--before Ted Kennedy and his cohorts ram an amnesty
bill down our throats that will jeopardize our national security.

No. Disagreeing with their goals on an individual basis does not mean they've sold us out.
Do you realize how many people support undocumented aliens? The Iraq War? Nafta?
Silly to think you are the majority, or that you know what is best for the country, when you have only a tiny portion of the information available to our politicians.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't ask such questions, or not oppose specific actions or legislation.
But painting all our politicians as 'betraying us' is silly, and seditious. It's rumor spreading without proof on issues you don't like.
You can imagine the alternative post:
"Have we been betrayed by our politicians?
Have they sold us out?
Immigrants arrested?
Terrorists win in Iraq?
Trade cut-off with Mexico?
Have we lost?"
That's just as silly.
They can't sell you out unless you let them. Our system makes that impossible.
It's our responsibility to do something about it.

When asking such a question, I always have to ask the person when was the last time you voted? Why is this important because each politician that is in office is because of each of us. If we do not do our part and vote and get others to vote, then it is you and I that have sold out ourselves. We have to place the right people in place from our local cities to states then onward. Every little action you can achieve at a local level will have impact on the larger scale if you plan right.
As for the present situation I feel that all is not lost but it could go bad fast if in the next elections we do not back the right people to finish what has been started. It is like raising a child you can not do things half way and expect all to work its way out. Follow thru with praise and punishments when needed.
Hope this opens your mind and makes you get more involved to really know what is happening in the world (or at least in your town).

YES! And big time for sure. Think about just how "free" are we? We don't have privacy for our medical records, library cards, and our phone records are up for grabs, TV programming is based on the almighty dollar and not good programming. Education is so poor (and in my life time it has been fixed (supposed to have been permanently fixed) three times. The illegals come across the border and the Border Patrol just opens the gate and lets them in. The chimp can only come up with a plan that is the cheapest fix and that is allow blanket amnesty for these dirt dogs!
A lot of manufacturing jobs went elsewhere when NAFTA was started. How soon will the Americans get made enough to take our country back???

Not really. Undocumented, or to be correct Illegal Aliens have always been a part of our society and always will be. Yeah, the get paid less than Americans, but with unemployment at 4%, and want ads filling up everywere-its not like Americans are hurting, unless their to lazy or selfish to go to work.
Iraq...We did what needed to be done, history will show that. Perhaps Bush went their to avenge the assination attempt on his father by Saddam, or prehaps he saw another Hitler in the making and wanted to stop it before it happened. Remember, when you go on telling the world Bush and his cronies are making millions on oil, Ted Kenndy owns oil distrubition companies in the US and Al Gore has millions of oil stocks.
Nafta, the Bill Clinton Free Trade agreement, yeah that screwed us up, but we can recover from it.
Fact of the matter is our politicians are not listening to us any longer, look at how long some of them have been in office-Decades, longer than any president. Ted Kenndy has been there for what like 20 or 30 years..Yeah, he's really listening to the people-I bet.
If anyone is selling us out, it would be ourselves. Demanding more, but not offering more in return. Look at Wal Mart. I'm not against Wal Mart, they are a bussiness and they do quiet well. Dems cannot stand Wal Mart because they're 1. Non Union and 2. Support the republican party (donations)...They also support the Economy of China, and We support walmart by shopping there because we want to save money. Just one example of how our own personal greed prohibits us, and making laws or taxes will not help out a damn thing.
You want to take a lot of the power away from your politicians, Rally as many people as you can as often as you can write and demostrate and demand the fair tax act.

Yes, and their ears are getting deafer by the minute at a rapid pace.
They are SUPPOSED to represent the WILL OF THE PEOPLE. Everyone noticing that the idea gets pushed almost continually to the wayside anymore?
There truly is something really wrong in Washington, and most of our state capitols as well.
Money and greed are at the realm of most issues.
Control the money, the commerce and trade, and the national transportation infrastructure and you CONTROL THE PEOPLE! Where is freedom going?
Wake UP America!

No, we've been sold out by a uninformed, apathetic generation that's not willing to fight for their Democracy. How about becoming politically active instead of whining all the time?
